    Shots per Tank?

Where I usually play, I always fill up between rounds, so I never get a good count of how much paint I can use per fill. But I'll be going to Oklahoma D-Day this year. It will be my first scenario game, so bear with me.

I've learned that I should only carry enough paint to match my air supply. I'm also familiar with the rule that states 10 rounds/ci for a 3000 psi tank and 15 rounds/ci for a 4500 psi tank.

How accurate are those estimates? I have two markers available to use. One is a X-Valve with level 10 and ULT. The other is a classic valve with level 10 and RT on/off. Will there be any difference between the markers?

Also, what about CO2 (for the classic valve)? How many shots can I get with CO2?

You have the numbers right. You'll get a few more shots out of the co2 when its warm out.

My local field cant fill it over 3000 so Its not often I get to shoot a full tank.

Challenge Park only fills to 3000. Unless the event organizers bring their own compressors.

I'm pretty sure Paintball Indiana is bringing the fire truck up for air again at LL3. Should have 4500 fills all day if that's the case.

It depends a lot on the barrel you are using.

I get over 1100 shots on my emag with a 88-3000, so you should be fine with a 88-4500. Of course, I do have a very quiet, efficient barrel.

You should be fine with the tank you are using. You'll be able to carry more paint than is comfortable.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I just had a RT twist lock barrel threaded and bored for my freak inserts, Have yet to fire it I want to replace the Emag sear so I don't ding up my new lx bolt.

Iv never really tried to shoot deep into my tank but at the most I have shoot is a halo and 4 pods

The Rt barrel should be good, especially with the inserts. It isn't ported so it has a long acceleration distance for maximum efficiency. The ideal distance for level 7 bolts is about 11". I'm not sure what it is for the level 10 bolt with its slightly different impulse output.

                  what barrels are you using
                  (just curious)

right now i have a newer style 8-piece kaner kit 12,14,16 in tips), and a full 8-piece J&J kit (10,12,14 in tips)

I typically use an Equation barrel kit with either a 16" or 12" length. Quiet and efficient. Too bad they don't make them anymore.
