Oring Help

I'm trying to slide an oring over a metal piece into a grove around midway on it.

My problem is the oring is very small, and hard to stretch(which I know is bad to do). How can I get it over the edges so I can slide it down?

You are going to have to stretch the oring some. Use a plastic pick to get it in the grove. The most important thing to remember is, don't use something that will scratch the metal or damage the oring.
