    Emag not firing in E-Mode

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Title pretty much sums it up. I Bought her a little over a month ago and she shot awesome in emode. Took it out to the field and she ripped. I have oiled her before each use and haven't really taken her apart besides to clean the bolt. I aired her up tonight and she would shoot in mech mode but she just wouldn't fire in emode. The LED screen still lights up. This is my first mag and I am a lil worried

    Please help
P.S. I havent dropped her, taken apart, or jacked with anything.

I charged it about two weeks ago and haven't turned it on but I am charging it again right now to see if that is the problem.

Check your trigger magnet position. It might have drifted out of the sweet spot and into the no-zone.

Wow this sounds familier. Mine is doing the same thing at the moment, check the thread linked above for what people have been suggesting to help me out. The LED just goes out after the first trigger pull I think, pushing the buttons on the back will bring it back up to check/change settings.

Is there any "dust" buildup on the magnet between the top of the trigger and the frame?

Try taking a piece of masking tape and folding it a few times for rigidity, sticky side out. Pass it through a few times with the trigger set forward and see what comes out.

Here is another thought that might help. Flip the trigger magnet. The field will interact differently due to the presence of the top magnets.

How do I do that? I used it a few weeks ago with no problems at all and hadn't changed anything. The only thing I did was remove the valve to clean off the bolt and then oiled it after I reassembled it. I charged the battery and that it still wouldn't fire in Emode

                      Ace on?

Pull your valve out and put pressure down with your finger over the sear part that actuates the on/off. See if it's actuating.

When you pull the batt saver pin and the display comes on. Does it go out when you pull the trigger and are you able to get it to come on when you push the top menu button on the back of the grip?

Ace is off. And yes the screen comes back on when I go through the menus. If I put pressure on the sear it actuates when i pull the trigger but when I put the body and valve back on it doesn't wanna work. I was getting a low battery reading on the screen. I am gonna charge the battery over night to see if that makes a difference.

That's probably it then. Hopefully the recharge works out. If you have a multimeter ck the battery and charger. Charger should be putting out 24+ volts.

I do not have a multimeter So just to recap, The board still turns on, the noid still clicks, ace is not on. I am gonna charge the battery overnight to see if that will do the trick.

Also can I get a price check with the dead and dying battery? I have been thinking about selling it as i just don't use electros all to often. Its in really good physical condition with only one real flaw on the battery pack. Its a ule body with ccm feedneck, x-valve, level X, xmod 1.7, wall/car charger, nice parts kit. The marker still fires awesome in mech mode

                            Thanks in advance

If you have a batteriesplus nearby they can assemble one with cells you supply for $15. Just make sure to take the old pack with you.

They can rebuild it. They have the technology!
