    Using Valve Without Back Regulator

I was cruising over on the Nation, and I came across a post where a user talks about removing the spring pack from the back reg and instead using an inline reg. Anyone ever do this? Benefits?

It should work. The only benefits I see would be a different weight distribution.

Actually, the easiest way to make this mode is to remove the valve pin assembly. If you remove the spring pack, no air will flow at all. This will only work for a classic or AIR valve and not the retro/X valves.

That being said. it offers no benefit in performance. The performance may be reduced because the low pressure air has to travel farther from the regulator to the chamber. It does add a level of flexiblity to the system that allows you to use an inline regulator.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
