    Frankenwarp

Wow. So I bought new warp shells but didnt realize that i would have to cut the wires from the main board to the warp motor just to get everything off the old shells onto the new ones. Its gonna look all hacked up...like frankenstein. I'll probably try some quick connects to make it easier if I ever have to do it again.

Eh, while your at it, there are some other mods you can do.

Currently I'm running an 11.2 (or something close) Li-Po rechargeable battery using some RC connections. Those connections are much more stable and easier to use than 9v snaps.

Oohh, and what are you doing with your old halves? I have a project that is looking for some old/broken warp shells.

I was gonna keep em just in case...but what did you have in mind?

I'm working on a mod to run a nice force feed hopper (reloader, rotor, Prophecy, etc.) in the warp position without a warp. I think that these loaders have the power to do it.

I want a set of warp shells to hack up and test my theory. Assuming that works, then the next step would be to build new mounting block that would be smaller/lighter than the warp.

I shot you a PM back...I finished converting everything over and I can't help but step back and say.."Ghetto rigged!" But it works flawlessly. The new shock sensor and new springs are quite touchy and my intelifeed still works perfectly. Actually I think it actually might be performing better it seems. The only thing I might run into problems with will be the power wires from the battery to the board. I already had the snap connector come off about a year ago but now the wires seem to be loosening up from the board. I'll probably have to re solder them to the board. I really dont wanna have to pay 50 bucks for a new board.
