    Battery life in epMags?

    Hey guys,

I've been working on a pneumag project that is almost done and I have a bunch of spare parts. So, I've been thinking of building an epmag with those parts. I was wondering what the typical 9v battery life is with the epmags that you have built.
    • From a fresh 9v battery, how many hours of play are you getting?
    • Approximately how many shots are you getting out of a fresh 9v battery?
    • What kind of battery are you using (brad, rechargeable, etc...)?
    • Any other info you can think of that may be helpful.

I am planning to build a compact rechargeable battery pack out of several 3.6v pill-style cells and I need to figure out how many I'll need to get a day of play out of it. I'm hoping to be able to make it smaller than the typical 9v battery, otherwise it's pointless. I'm also considering integrating a 9v solar cell to help extend the battery's life.

    Thanks in advance,
    Ben

I havent had an ep mag in a while, but I remember that a 9v battery lasted a long time. The noids are either 5v or 6v, so battery life was very good. Especially with a cap in there.

Thanks, BE. Do you remember about how many times you could go out on a single battery and about how many balls you would go through on average in a day? I'll probably make the pack as big as I can fit in my grip with everything else stuffed in there, but I just want to make sure I have enough juice to play an entire day with it.

      Thanks again,
      Ben

I have a hyper framed mag which uses a 9 volt battery and I get cases of life out of my battery.
