    Better Feedneck Elbows?

Need some advice... I am tired of using those plastic screw -tighten feed elbows on my automags! They always seem to break at the worst time; and they always break! Are there any better alternatives available? I found an aluminum feedneck from DoroSports Paintball, but it costs forty dollars. Any ideas?

There's a nylon type feedneck that indestructible. I'll try to find you one. Only thing is you'll need to use those adj metal clamps with them.

Find one that looks like this one. Again, you'll need to use clamps.

Please don't support Ron ASP... He's a swindler! You'll most likely get a "similar" inferior item to what's pictured.

That said, PPS makes a metal feedneck for around $60 that can be had in powdercoated black or nickel plating. It clamps on both ends, and will never ever break. Last time I ordered I got one that was made when Glenn was in charge, so it wasn't a complete piece of crap like the stuff Craig has been pumping out under the Palmers Pursuit name these days (no offense to the fanboys, I am one, but seriously when you pay $1000+ you expect quality).

The other option is Python, who makes a $40 aluminum feedneck that's equally indestructible and anodized satin black. It's a little goofier looking than the PPS one, but it's anodizable and 40% cheaper after shipping, and the quality is guaranteed. Plus, their motto is "Give Your Balls a Squeeze" and that's just... Well... That's what it says on their packaging... Which is cool. I guess.

I've had my Armson elbow for over ten years without a single problem. The problem now-a-days is finding one for sale. Here's the only pic I could find on the net

They're still readily available from PTP/Armson in a multitude of colors and sizes.

Sure, I bought one from Python. It's really nice but, if I had seen those from PTP.....

Good find Fry. I was in no way telling him to purchase that one. I've dealt with that guy before and didn't have a pleasant experience. That was the only nylon feedneck that came up when I did a search.

Those feednecks are the best tho.

I'm not talking about PTP. You can buy from them all day long. I was talking about the guy Fry was bashing. The ebay link i posted.

I had purchased something from him mag related and it wasn't what he had pictured. Had to do the whole paypal dispute thing and was just a waste of my time. I got my money back but vowed to never again deal with him. Which I did a few months later cause he was the only one that had something I wanted but that transaction went fine.

I try not to deal with people who've okey-doked me before.

Try an "Atomic Elbow". They are indestructible and are guaranteed for life. You don't need a clamp for them but you can use those automotive screw clamps if you want. Mine fit so tight that I don't use a clamp. I think this is the one that used to be included with the automag back in the day.

This is a discussion forum dedicated to the various custom autococker paintball markers which have been built and modified over the years.

Lots of horror stories, here are 2 (or 3 really).

Atomic elbow's work wonderful and as long as you keep the bag you can send it in for a new one if it ever breaks. I use one on my right feed cocker and a minimag. Cant beat the price at there site they are under misc. http://www.allenpaintball.com/retailframeset.html . I also have a stock feed tube made by palmers and I must say its quality work and it looks good.

Different name, same product. I've encountered at least 5 people who didn't know they were still around.
