Halo off Emag pack

Plan on running my Halo off my new KC battery pack. I have a 12V regulator I was going to use for a Warp mod.

My questions is will the Halo work off that same 12v or do I need to get a 9v Reg? and is a Cap needed/necessary?

what gauge wire would work best (want as small as possible)

I'll have a on/off switch installed after the hopper lead so I can turn off the board and still run my hopper for M-mode.

I'll probably just use a 9V reg but I'm not sure if i need a cap and what size.

I ask a similar question not long age about halo voltage , From what I understand the halo board will only take just over 10v before it smokes

I was going to try running a warp & a halo off 2 , 9v's wired in series ( reged down ) , that fit inside a Z-grip
