    Trigger lag, dead trigger?

Got my new RT ULE with ULT installed from AGD this year and have one issue. When it is gassed up and sits for a period of time (5-10min) the gun will fire about 3-5 seconds after initial trigger pull. Fires great after that. Not good when I'm laying in wait and want that 1st shot to count. Bought the standard on/off and it does the same but only about 1/2-1 sec delay. I can live with that but like the pull of the ULT much more. Here is some more info:
Probably only have 1-1 1/2 cases of paint through it.
Level 10 seems great, no leaks, bolt stick, or chops. Well lubed and maintained.
Using Pure Energy bottle/reg with 800-850psi output. Not confirmed.
Tried different shim configs on ULT with no change. No run away as mentioned in other posts with alot of shims. Tried 2-9 shims.
    Chrono around 280ish.
    CP ASA installed.
Did find that I had bolt stick with under-torqued field strip screw. 1/4 turn past hand tight is money.

    Any help would be appreciated,
    Matt

Sounds like too tight a carrier.

Once the oil dries/wears off the carrier o-ring, a too-tight carrier will cause excess friction, resulting in your symptoms.

Make sure you are using the largest carrier that does not leak. Do this without shims.

I agree. Remove the shims and go to a larger carrier. Use the largest one that doesn't leak. Always use the same white carrier oring when changing carriers. Its the oring that you are actually adjusting.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

        Thank you!

        Thanks Athomas and Secretweaponevan!
You two nailed it. It came with the smallest carrier (no mark) in it and I put in the one with a dot and ring (no shims) and I had no leak. Left it gassed up and came back..... fired right off the bat. Man I love this marker. Complicated yet simple, always reliable.
