lvl 7 bolt assy on the x-valve?

Trying to piece meal a pump mag part by part. I have an xvalve with a lvl 10 but I know the lvl 10's have issues with pump kits.

Should the lvl 7 bolt assembly would fit on the x-valve with no lack of performance? (other than the obvious chance of chopping)

Yes throw a level 7 on your x if you're pumpin' with no problems.

if your going to be running a pump, you shouldn't be chopping balls anyway.

You can try a .220 lvl7 spacer and it should be fine, I can run either that or a .225 in mine. If you don't have any let me know I have a couple of extras.

Here's a part 2 of my question, say i wanted to switch between pump and semi depending on my mood that day, would the x-valve cycle just as efficiently with the lvl 7 as it would a lvl 10 in semi-auto?

yes it will, but then you might have to worry about chopping, from what i remember the devilmags would use the lvl 7 on the xvalve but they had eyes to prevent chops.

And at that point in time I just need to make sure I have a force fed hopper feeding faster than what I can shoot.

A level 7 bolt on an X valve will be a tad more efficient than a lvl x also. So watch your trigger speed and your fine
