    Emag frame issue

I sent my Emag lowers in for anno and I could not remove the grounding barb from the frame, the party involved said they would try and remove it for me. Sadly they ran into the same problem I did, It wont move.

Are there any disadvantages to drilling it out then taping it after anno and using a bolt for contact?

that's exactly what I did and I just got my lowers anno'd too- you will also have to sand down the stand-off where the board grounds to the frame also. I had some electrical problems right after anno, but I sanded down that stand off and drilled out and tapped the hole for the ground barb with ultimately no problems after I got it done.

Just let me know when you get your frame back and I can show you exactly what I did and how I did it if you need help.

You don't have to drill it out. Just use an appropriate punch to get it out, that what the hole on the top is for.....

Tell mongoose to pack it up in his car, along with his noodle arms and bring it to me.

lol thanks big, you might need to call him I sent him a PM last night telling him to Drill it, so not sure if its too late. either way I have no problem taping it and using a proper bolt to make it work.

Did you try to use a press or even a C-clamp? On the one I did I just drilled a hole into a 2x4 and a punch. IIRC Tuna has an arbor press that will work or the BigE option is also a good one....
