The vertical feed on my newly acquired nickel PTP Micromag 2000 ReTro is too large and all of my loaders (Revvy, Ricochet, TSA, VLocity, Magna, Pulse) wobble and/or twist around in it.
- Is the feedneck replaceable?
- If yes, what are the threads and how do I get it off? (The strap wrench I used to remove my ULE body's feedneck ain't working and I don't want to heat it up and further destroy the flaking nickel plating.)
- If no, what would be the best method to hold hoppers in there? (Tape and o-rings have not worked thus far for a secure fit.) I've thought of drilling a small hole in the feedneck, tapping it and using a set screw to stabilize a loader but I'm not sure how badly that'd damage the loader's neck over time.
