Since you have everything that you need right now and it is setup, why not just install an anti-siphon in the bottle. Nothing else needs to change. You can get an anti-siphon kit for around $10.00.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

A better way to go is the Palmer's Sideline Stabilizer, IMHO. Its just another regulator that screws into your valve. I've NEVER had any prob. w/ liquid getting into the valve. If you want to keep a foregrip, replace the X-chamber w/ the Palmers Male stabilizer.

I would like to avoid a remote as we play woodsball in some thick stuff.
I have seen one guy who has one have repeated fits with his getting snagged.

Stabilizer looks nice but I am on a bit of a budget. If going vert. with my bottle does not work I will seriously look into these. Thanks.

I may try this if going to a vert. bottle does not work out.
I would rather not be stuck using proprietory bottles if at all possible.

        Thanks

OK, here is my new setup:

I made a rail extension so the bottle and x-chamber could both be vertical and inline and so the x-chamber would be a comfy, forward handle.

Some nifty hose work and now I should be liquid free. :headbang:

T-Stock to be added before play.

          Comments/criticism are welcome.
          Matt

just remember not to point the barrel to the ground as you will allow liquid CO2 to pour out of the bottle and into the expansion chamber .... I had a bad habit of doing this when i ran a vertical bottle.

There is a reason people didn't do this in the 90s. That gun looks awkward to point. Snap shooting is going to be a disaster.

The absolute best way to run CO2 with a mag is on a remote. That is what nearly everyone did in the 90s for a reason.

It'll definately work. It looks a bit awkward, but as long as its comfy, go for it.
