    warp problem

so i am getting my warp feed back working, having problems. when i attach the battery, the warp just runs. with jumpers, without jumpers, with the gun attached, without the gun attached, the thing just runs.

never had this problem before, is my board fried?

I'm assuming you have adjusted your potentiometer? Maybe it was over rotated and snapped?

i have spun in around a bunch, it runs in any position on it.

but it even runs when the jumper doesn't even have the vibe sensor turned on. unless just shorting the potentiometer shorts the whole system. that would be great, i could just buy a 5 cent one from radio shack and be up and running.

That is a good point. It may not have an effect without the vib sensor jumper. I'll throw some batteries in mine real quick and post back.

EDIT: It can't be the pot. Removing the vibe jumper takes it out of the circuit. Looks like it is something more sinister.

yeah, i think a transistor blew. anyone know what kind of transistors are on here? they look like mosfets to me. i'd rather not drop 65 on a new freakin board to get this gun going again.

I asked the same question the other day but no one offered confirmation. Two of mine are marked 451A, also found in the e-mag. I believe they are Fairchild NDT451AN.

            Here's the product entry: http://www.fairchildsemi.com/pf/ND/NDT451AN.html

Newark is oos, but digikey delivars: http://search.digikey.com/scripts/Dk...=NDT451ANCT-ND

I think this is the other: http://www.fairchildsemi.com/pf/ND/NDT2955.html

Arrow has both in stock, but they are more expensive. http://www.arrownac.com/

Are you using a 9.6v battery or have a 12v mod? 18v mod? I know you did a 18v at one time and how is that working out for ya?

When I used Luke's 12V warpfeed mod kit my warp ran continuously despite how I set the warp. Ended up pulling it out since it just killed the batteries within hours.

That's the reason I was asking. If your running a 12v mod, the motor put out more feedback which trips the senser.

with any battery it does it. just a normal 9 volt makes it spin all the time.
