Just slide it in and gas it up..... now tuning the lvl 10 is another story.Originally posted by 2BAD4Uare there any modifications or can i just slide it in & gas her up ? please help anyone ...

Literally install and play. Tuning the level 10 will be no harder with a Minimag than any other body.Comment

If the level 10 was already tuned for the xvalve, then it should be a direct drip into the minimag body. If the level 10 carriers and oring were never tuned for that bolt, then you will need to tune it. Other than that, an x-valve fits the same as the classic valve.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment

See Frizzle Fry's post. How's your level 10 fu?Originally posted by 2BAD4Ucool , it slid rite in ... she'll gas up but wont shoot . whats next ? is there a step by step instruction area i can check into or what not ? please help anyone ...
Do you have any history with the x-valve?
Does it have oil?
Does the trigger rod have tension on it?
Is your rail bushing still in there?
You may just need to turn up the velocity adjuster if it is a new x-valve.Comment

Also read this thread. Sounds like you might be where I was, but there are some other good options here too!

First, turn up the velocity adjustment. If it still won't shoot, then proceed to trouble shoot.Originally posted by 2BAD4Ucool , it slid rite in ... she'll gas up but wont shoot . whats next ? is there a step by step instruction area i can check into or what not ? please help anyone ...
Is there tension on the trigger rod? If yes, and the velocity is already turned all the way up and it still won't fire, then tune the level 10. Remove all the shims and use the largest carrier that doesn't leak. Always use the same white carrier oring.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment
