Classic valve vs RTP X-valve w/ ULT

Why does my classic feel lighter to pull than my rt pro x-valve with ult (6 shims). the recharge rate seems faster too. i can't really tell how many bps since the local field's chrono doesnt have that feature. it has the same input pressure (790 psi from a crossy 45/45). the only difference s the frame i used. the classic has a dye frame with emag trigger and my rtp x-valve has the rpg triton with splinter trigger. the rpg frame needs a smaller length on the sear while the dye frame needs to be extended more.

is it because of the input pressure? i remember when my raptor adjustable was still alive, the rtpx was rt'ing with just 4 shims with an input pressure of 950psi.

can anyone chime in on this? and what adjustable reg should i use?

Does your trigger rod have a gap behind the trigger on both frames/valves? If the trigger rod is preloaded by the trigger, it can give you a very short and light trigger pull. It's just not healthy for your bolt and sear and can cause poor recharge.
