I have been reading alot about using DM,PM Shocker, Spyder eframes on a Mag, I was wondering why AGD does no not make a Tech jump forward and start producing an Eframe for mags, I am sure this would help bring alittle more interest back into the AGD marker in the PB world. I know their is the Emags, so don't beat me on this, was thinking with every one doing the mods why AGD does not design their own.

Well there is the Hyperframe. It's quite a bit outdated but it works.
Otherwise, look for p8ntball4me's new vertical e-frame. I think he has a thread in the dealer forum, but I'm too lazy to look
He also plans to release his own board for DIY'ers sometime in the future.
edit: just realized that I did not really answer the question you were asking.
I'm sure they ceased R&D on anything e-trigger related for the same reasons that they discontinued production of the E/X-Mags -
centerflag made hyperframes.
And the 'lore' I was told about how the hyperframe came about, is that Tom had zero interest in producing it. Nothing to do with SP or patents at that time.Comment

When the hyperframe was in production, the emag was being manufactured. AGD didn't want or need to produce another e-frame. AGD didn't further their advancement in e-frames due to the legal issues.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment

unfortunately it seems AGD has become pretty lazy when it comes to R&D. With practically everyone else have some sort of eframe, i cant see it being difficult... especially for AGD. take the RT PRO, tear off the stupid sight rail crap, different ASA, clamping feedneck, and have a nice pancake 'noid eframe with all the standard modes... you'd have an awesome marker.
there may not be huge interest in it but easiest way to get that, it seems, is to sponsor a popular team with the markers you're trying to sell.
