    Regulatorless valve setup?

I saw a automag awhile back that someone had removed the rear portion of the valve and capped it. I looked for a bit to try and find it but to no avail. Has anyone else ran a setup like this before? And if so how did it perform? I wouldn't think there would be any negative drawbacks if using a secondary hpr. But, that's why I'm asking you all. Any insight on this would be much appreciated. I'm looking to do something a lil different with some mag parts I've got.

He's on here too, but I think there's more info in the thread on MCB.

You can either remove the internals of the regulator or just cap the back section (ie; remove the regulator portion). Either one works. As long as you have a good high flow regulator in the line to adjust the pressure (velocity) and a good high flow air line feeding the valve, you should be good to go.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
