Coming back to paintball after 6 years... questions.

SO... I got my Minimag working no problems. I went to gas up my ULE custom after lubing/cleaning etc, and the second air goes through to the valve -- rapid fire. Is this usually just an issue that can be resolved by turning down the velocity, or is it more involved?

Tinkering with it. It rapid fires when I gass up initially, and every time the trigger is pulled. Any help would be appreciated!

What happens when you hold down the trigger and keep it down?

If it stops misbehaving your problem is with the on/off. If it continues there's probably something in your power tube.

Replace the 2 top on/off orings. The center one will cause the full auto.

          Umm try oil yet?

Nevermind, I see you stated you lubed it. Like Ando the great said top two on/off o-rings probably need to be replaced, Although you may get away with only changing the sammler of the two.

Played with it some more last night. It no longer fires when gassed up, now only when the trigger is pulled, and still full auto. I've got an X-Valve with ULT.

I'll try it with varying numbers of shims tonight. When I took it apart last night there were only two shims in the ULT... hrm.

Does your tank have adjustable output? If so crank it down to 800-850. You might want to try changing out the front spring as well as lowering the velocity.
2 shims in a ULT isn't a big deal, that shoudlnt cause a problem but each valve is a little
                  bit different

Is there a continuous leak when you hold the trigger in after a shot?
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

                        Nah, not I.

When I hold the trigger in, the thing goes rapid fire.

That is an indication that one of the two top on-off orings are bad. Its usually the smaller one.
