    ULE/Tac-One Feedneck Threading

Huy guys, dont mean to sound to noobtastic.
I know that the threading on the ULE/Tac-one mainbodys ( and the Mircomag, E-mag/X-mag) bodies are Angle threaded, Although over the years Angle has made their feednecks
    - the actual threading smaller in length ( to accomodate the low-rise feedneck designs)

So my question, is there a cut off point in the years ( such as the new angles) which threading is shortened to a point where it wont be able to thread into the mainbody correctly?

Example, Mag needs a feedneck with 5mm of threading ( total height) 2007 angles feednecks had 5mm, but 2008 changed to 3mm in hieght of threading. therefore 2008 wont fit correctly ( as there is extra space between feedneck and body now)

Or Am I just totaly nuts and any Angle threaded feedneck will work?
just wrap some teflon on there to make it extra tight so it will stay on.

Thanks for the time spend reading my words. which are slightly all over the place.

I don't own one, but I don't see why the shorter feedneck threading would keep it from going on tight. I could see why it would be less strong, but I would guess that you should have no problem getting it on, even without teflon because it would basically clamp itself on when the feedneck hits the body.

Any feed neck with Angel threading will work regardless of year. I currently use only CCM no pro 1" feed necks and they are strong enough to hold a full pinokio hopper with 400 round nose cone on it.

Don't buy an Ion threaded feedneck from CP. Ions and Angels do not have the same feedneck threads even if CP's website tells you they do.
