    Rails

What's the difference between the different rails? Can you mount a ULE body to a classic rail, or do I need to buy an RT Pro rail?

If I am thinking of eventually upgrading to / building an emag from parts will an emag rail work with different styles of bodies?

Right now I just have a stainless powerfeed body, but eventually I'm going to get a ULE.

I've heard people talk about ULE rails before, is that just a normal rail with some of the excess material cut out to save weight?

Any real reason not to just keep using my classic rail as I upgrade?

I have an Alpha rail which is a Classic rail, milled after market to be ultra light, which is generally called ULE milling.

I also have a ULE body, which will work on classic+minimag/RT/emag rails.

Glad to know I'm not forced to switch if I go to a different body style.

I'm thinking that eventually I'm going to send a rail in to Luke to get some exterior milling and a ULE upgrade.

Off topic for this thread, but anyone know if you can take a black Intelliframe and have it chromed?

You can chrome anything that you can apply a layer of chromable metal onto. Chroming an intelliframe involves removing the annodize, applying a coat of zincate and then chroming the zincate.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I'm sure theres a ton of people here that would trade you a chrome your black intelly. Save yourself a lot of hassle and cash. Send up a post in the buy/sell/trade forum.
