    trigger removal

have an emag frame and I'm having a hell of a time trying to remove the trigger. Is there a trick to tapping out the pin? is it a one-way pin by any chance?

It is a one way pin. If you look closely, you can see that it is serrated (star shaped) on one side and round on the other. Hit the round side to drive the pin out on the serrated side.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

The pin came out the drivers side on all the ones I've worked on. An arbor press makes removal/installation much easier and with less of a chance of damaging the frame.

whoever owned it before me hammered the hell out of both sides, no sign of serration or roundness.

So it pops out of left side then, looking from the back. I'll give it a shot.
