So I have tried searching but couldn't really find anything specific unless I was using the wrong keywords. Anyways, all I'm curious about is super simple... what screw is used for the Chimera triggers? My pneu-chimera is walkable but difficult for me to do effectively while actually playing because I'll short stroke it or something. Figure if I can stop it right after the completed shot I'll be a lot better off. Anyways, thanks.
Chimera trigger set screw?

You are correct that it will reduce your chances of short-stroking or chuffing. It made all the difference in the world on my Intelliframe. But I'm not sure what size it takes. You could always just remove the trigger and take it to a hardware store...

No, They are 6-32 if you are referring to the ones in some of the RPG triggers. The stock triggers do not have any stops. I usually create one in the stock trigger in pneumags that I build. It will help you a lot.Originally posted by AndoAre you looking for the size? I believe they're 4-40
What you are experiencing is the over travel of the trigger and minimizing that will greatly help the short stroking caused by what I like to call "the lazy finger". which kind of stays lightly on the trigger just enough to keep the ram from returning to the "resting" position to allow the sear and on/off to reset.
If I have said it once I have said it 100 times, walking the trigger on a pneumag is an art. Practice, practice, practice.
Good Luck!
......You know you want one!!

alrighty, thanks. i went to the local hardware store yesterday and they didnt have anything as small and fine as a 4-40 but they did have some in the 6 range. i'll try somewhere like radioshack tomorrow for hopefully a better chance but a pic of the frame/trigger is below(but not showing the hole).

I'll have to ck my frame again but I thought they were 4's.
Best place to find parts like that is ACE. They have a very nice parts setup, better then Lows and Depot, at least the one by me does. I would give them a call and ask which Ace store in your area has the larger parts selection. That's what I did, I have a good 4-5 in a 15 mile radius.
You can also change out those nasty Phillip screw heads while your at it
