Now THAT looks interesting. I would like to know if that may be easier to do. I would do it with a short steel braided line.

            Mann is selling some hardline.
Not sure you'd be able to use it w/ the fittings so close though.

I think it would be easiest to do it with a Classic RT. Just tap a hole in the rail, and send that down some how to the asa. Again, I don't think you have much room in current frames. How about using a classic RT valve on a standard mag platform? The rt is a little smaller than other valves, so I am not sure how it would work.

You read my mind...I am looking for a classic RT valve as we speak. Do these have the same recharge rate as an X.

I think so, but the diameter is smaller than an X so I am not sure how you would make it fit a standard body.

I finally took some pictures of how I did this....I am not a photographer.
Here is the hole I drilled just behind the field strip hole.

Here is the hole I drilled in the rail.

I cut the pancake plunger so I could mount the solinoid verticle under the back of the sear.

Here is how the solinoid is mounted.

Here is the air line going through the grip behind the noid. The board is mounted sidewaze.

                    Here is everything put together.
