Series or parallel for dual 9v setup?

I recently got an old, busted warp feed fixed up and working again. I've also got a 9v Revy CAT to go on top of it.

Right now I have the hopper setup for intellifeed. It's not a 12v revy, so it doesn't have a board or anything, but I've basically got it set up so that the switch in the intelliframe connects the battery and turns the paddle wheel.

I want to set the warp up to run off the intellifeed as well. I'm pretty sure I can accomplish this by using a y-splitter.

But this will basically have both devices running off a common power source. So I'm wondering what's the best way to provide enough power? Run two 9volts in parallel, or wire them in series and put a 12v voltage regulator on them?

You don't want to go in a series but can do the 12v mod.

You can try running them in a series but chances are your going to fry the board.
