AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
The sear can will chip on the tip if you are running an on-off that is too short.
Spring packs typically won't cause a leak. You just can't get the gun up to a desired velocity. Leaking out the back that can't be fixed by an oring change is usually a sign of a bad or weak regulator piston assembly. If the mag has been upgraded to a level 10 bolt, then the original stock assembly probably won't work because the required pressure is higher than the bleed pressure of the older piston assemblies. This would cause a continuous leak out the back. Replacing the assembly with a new higher pressure assembly fixes this problem.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
How does a cracked sear cause a leak out the BACK of the valve? That's a new one on me. I would expect it to leak out the front or from the on/off or go full auto or something...similar to what happens when you air up a valve with no sear in the there at all.
