    Unfortunately, 9v rechargeables don't have the necessary C-rating to provide enough current.
    Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

      Solenoids usually fail completely when they do go bad. I suspect the solenoid is fine.

      You mentioned that the sear is the correct length. It should be 3.005" from the end of the clevis to the tip of the solenoid plunger. If it is too short, it will be weak.

        I double checked the sear length. It seems ok. I am stumped at this point. I guess I will send it to Tuna since I want it x-modded anyways. Thanks for all the help guys.
