    Emag turning off???

Well. Shot my ptp micro emag this weekend, worked flawlessly once I got it to power up. But I'm having trouble with the whole power thing. I have trouble getting the power to run, normally if I lightly hit the end of the battery pack it'll work fine. But lately thats not happening. I noted the battery rattled in the packed, shoved 4 sheridan bolt orings in there and fixed that. Wire is fine. Still wouldn't power up. I pressed the display thing that says "Danza Slap blah blah blah" when I had the battery saver out and the battery in, and it came on. Worked fine turning on and off. Then I went outside to dry fire and it shut off. I mean, it wouldn't shoot in e mode, but it seemed as if there was power when I switched to mech mode. I'm not sure whats going on here, honestly. Can my display be lose and causing problems? Thats my guess at least? Help? Lolz. Thanks.

Either you have a ground issue or your trigger magnet is too close to the sensor.

Easiest thing to try first is the trigger magnet. Adj it away from the sensor and see if that fixes your issue. If not, you probably have a bad ground. Open the grips and you should see a bolt holding the board down. Remove the screw, lift the board up and clean out the threads with a tap (think it's a 4-40) or with a scribe or pick of some sort. You just need to expose some fresh aluminum so the screw and board can make contact with it.

Its not a ground, I cleaned that screw up earlier this year. But you may be right about the trigger magnet. I'll try that trick asap and see.

Though I did do one thing. I took off the grip, took out the battery saver plug, and no go. But when I pushed down on the display thing, my mag powered up instantly. Can that somehow be the prob??? I mean, every time I push it down I fix my issue somehow???

Ando, thank you very much. You were right about the trigger magnet. I just went into the garage, 17 bps cap full auto, did 2 half turns (3 but turned it back 1), and somehow lost 2k of air.

This could be an upcoming issue. When you push down on the board and it works is a good indication that the ground is not perfect.

Huh. I'll clean that screw again, but the mag is working fine now.

Though I have a new q. Is there any way to make a ptp micro emag lighter? I mean, I'm a skinny small guy. I used it Sat. and my arms still hurt!
I currently am switching from a crossfire to a ninja tank, as soon as I sell the crossfire. I'm hoping that will help a bit. But is there anything else I can do? I have a steel emag valve, but am unsure if switching to a x will really make much of a difference, for the cost. Thanks.

Its usually the stuff on the outside that makes them heavy. The battery and tank are the biggest culprits. Although, by shaving a few oz here and there by using lighter parts such as lighter tank, barrel, ASA, X-valve, you would be quite surprised how light it can be.
