    ULT becoming increasingly reactive...

For the past 4/5 years I've been shooting my Karta'd RT Pro as my primary gun, with the X-Valve & ULT kit new from AGD. I use to need 4 shims to make the ULT walkable, now I can do it easily with 2 shims and the trigger seems more reactive, leading to an occassional trigger bouncing string. I want to maintain more control of my gun, but still be able to walk the trigger when I need the firepower. Has anyone else experienced this kind of action from a ULT after a couple years of use? My setup (pictured below) has not changed for quite a while, always ran a Crossfire HP output...

As the orings get broken in they will tend to have less friction, which will allow smoother action. This will enhance any reactivity. If you have your gun tuned for operation so that the ULT and sear timing are very close, the wear at the sear tip will be accelerated. A slight bit of rounding or smoothing at the tip of the sear will increase slippage at the point of contact which will increase reactivity. If it is a problem, check your sear. If it has noticeable rounding at the tip, it will need to be replaced. If it is not a problem, your good to go with a more reactive marker. The wear on the sear tip will get you more bounce up until the point where it causes uncontrollable reactivity.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

My sear looks great & I'm a paranoid whacko so I have a brand new one in my parts kit. Tried the new one with no difference.

See what happens when you swap out to a completely new set of orings.
