    Trivial things: Laser Etching ink

I know its trivial, and doesn't affect anything, but has anyone ever successfully re-filled in the laser etching ink on the side of the valve? I tried Sharpie, but it just easily rubs off again, I want it to proudly read 68 Automag Classic

That logo I believe was burned into the side of the valve by a laser, it's not ink. You would be better off finding a company that can re-laser the side of your valve.

Try a metal polish like Brasso or Noxon. I'm pretty sure the issue is the aluminum oxidizing. 7075 is bloody tough for aluminum, but it oxidizes much faster than the more common 6061 we see everywhere in paintball.

EDIT: Just reread the OP and realized we're talking about a stainless valve.
      Still, try the above.
