    EMag Wall Charger?

    Hey guys,
I have the base charging unit for the Emag battery. I would like to buy a Wall charger for it, and I dont wanna end of frying my battery. Does anyone know what kind I need..or if, perhaps, radio shack, carries one?

    Thanks in advance!

ive got the same one, it works great. Its a universal wall adapter and you need the K adapter to fit the emag charger..
heres links for pics of them

I just used the AC adapter from my digital scale.
The plug fit and it charged the battery great.
Check the plugs on the AC adapters from your electronic stuff you have laying around.

I used to work for RadioShack back in college and saw a lot of bad things happen with improper chargers. DO NOT just grab some other charger and throw it on there unless you want to risk frying the battery for good.

You need to check the proper charging voltage and match the new charger to that. Also check the proper charging amperage and match as close as possible without going over. Then make sure you get a tip that fits, and be sure to check the polarity of that tip and match. You might be able to find this information in your manual or on the charger you currently have that is working.

The biggest problem with grabbing a charger from some other gadget is the off chance that the tip fits, but has the reverse polarity (inside is positive, outside is negative, or vise-versa), which could fry your battery as I said.

Be safe with electronics! Do your homework and you won't be sorry.

Kind of an old thread here but I didnt find the answer an it relates...

Just got my first emag and a replacement battery pack. What settings do I need to set this charger to so I don't blowup my pack?
