No different then any other on/off. Why would you want to degas it anyways. Turn off the air, shoot out till it won't fire anymore and it's perfectly legal to take off the field. Once you get home, if you don't have one of those ball valves, loosen up one of your fittings and degas it that way.

At least with a Geddon you can go on fields that don't allow RT'ing, you can adj the PSI down to 800 and guarantee that it won't bounce. A 1200 PSI Ninja, your going to RT no mater what and field stripping it in the back of your car seat. You really want to risk that?

Get the Geddon. If you don't like it, sell it. It'll sell here...trust me.

Only down side of the Geddon is it's heavy. If weight is another issue with you then don't buy it or go to a gym.

Granted every mag is a bit different, but I have the stock ninja reg, not the 1200PSI mag reg, and it bounces great even on medium spring with a 900-950ish input pressure.

With the same spring and the stock output pressure (800psi or so) I got no bounce. It would RT on the short mainspring if I did it just right, but not a medium.

You're right about it being risky to field strip the reg, but presumably you'll know ahead of time whether RT is legal or not. And at least with a stock ninja you have the option of taking it down below the RT pressure threshold, unlike the 1200psi model.

I do agree with ya.. I have the 1200 and would never field strip it as I also have a standard 800-850 68/4500 so all I really have to do is change tanks which works like a charm... The R/T is very controlable on field and unless I basically go full auto all the time, nobody really even notices I mainly will shoot bursts if need be

As for the Armageddon, I figured it would just be cool to have and play with but just gotta figure out if its worth it in the long run. This one I'm looking to pick up is in excellent condition. I figure I can also use it on my Drozd Blackbird bb machine gun and get some wicked FPS
