    Barrels??

Ok, now my next upgrade for my 68Automag is going to be a new barrel. Right now I have an 8" Smart Parts Barrel. It shoots fine but, I don't really like how it looks. I've heard that with our guns(AGD) an 8-10" barrel is best. Well, if thats true then why is everyone running these 12" and 14" barrels???
I was thinking of getting a 12" Dye Aluminum Barrel or even a 11" Crown Point Barrel.

What would you guys recomend for the best accuracy under 60 bucks??

    thanks alot,
    chris

      Barrels

Barrels, barrels, barrels! You could go on forever! The Freak set is probably the best, but they are costly! I run 14" barrels on all my Mag's, because I feel they look the best! 12" work about as well. Any good barrel will give you good performance, especially when matched to the paint you are shooting (ball diameter to inside barrel diameter). That is why the Freak system works so well. I have had the best results using Smart Parts barrels, I have used the All American, Big Daddy, Teardrop, and the Boss Progressive barrels. The one that worked the best was a 14" all stainless All American with the Big Daddy close behind. I don't recommend the Crown Point becuse they are very loud and not very accurate. Barrel technology has come a long way since the Crown Point came out. I'm sure there are people who feel other barrel are equally as good or better then the ones I have mentioned, but I can only share what I know to have worked for me. I have a Jacko Infiniti (14") now that shoots great, and a J&J 2 piece set (10,12,14"), that also shoots great, but I have not yet used them in a game! Good luck!
AND ON THE 8TH DAY GOD CREATED THE AUTOMAG!!

          Tear drop

I bought a 12" Tear Drop from this guy. He's a good guy.
