Big pneu problem

my pneumag is not shooting.
the mpa-3 shot my lukes ram totaly out of the cylider.
then i put it back and now the ram stays out.
the msv-2 sounds like its leaking a small leak from one of the side vent holes.

what could be the problem

You will need to re-glue the ram into the MPA. Be sure to only use a dab of superglue. You don't want that stuff leaking onto anything.

As for the MSV, check the positioning of the lever. Loosen one of the mounting screws and pivot it away from the front of the frame to see if the leaking stops. If there is just the right amount of pressure on the lever, the valve will stay partially open causing it to exhaust.

Also, make sure your LPR is not turned up too high. Should probably do this 1st.
Turn it all the way down and then slowly adjust it until the MPA can trip the sear. Then give it about one more 1/4 turn.

btw, is this a new kit? or used? I once found that my MSV was exhausting because the rear screw was turned in a tad too far. You really should not need to mess with that though.

Note: the MSV will exhaust every time the lever is pushed. this is normal

alright will do the re glue.

if all else fails should i just replace the mpa-3 or should this problem be easy enough to fix by teching the problems?

i hit you back when i get more air and dismantle mpa-3 and re glue it.

Acutally, you really dont have to glue it. As long as its not too far away from the sear it will stay put.

The msv2 leak could be because you have the trigger sitting on the trigger rod a little too much. Try to back it off a bit and see if the leak stops.

Good Point......i always make sure to loosen all the trigger stops, and start with your LPR turned down...you might have blown the little 0-ring inside the msv2...if so your gonna need to replace it.

cool now i just have to wait for the kid to wake up and go get air.

the screw on the back of the msv-2 what is that for? if i back that out a little will it possibly help with the leak?

Don't touch it! Check everything else 1st and only adjust that as a last resort.
The other guys more knowledgeable than me can give more info on it and how it works.
It has something to do with how the internal piston opens/closes the valve.

well that was weird.

i just got done puting everything back in the gun.
not sweeking or anything done to anything.

i figured hey ill just gas it up real quick see if its good or not.
