Cam drive ASA for sleeper pneu?

Has anyone used the Bob Long cam drive ASA in a pneu mag sleeper setup? I can see the advantages to using the direct mount CP on/off over a rail mounted setup, but I'm just wondering if anyone has sucessfully used the BL for the same purpose.

Dirge did exactly that... don't have his install pic handy though.

      This is the thread

Looks like the process is basically the same as drilling out a CP ASA.

I think that's actually a GEAR DRIVE asa, though, not a cam drive. The cam drive is stubbier.

It's a Gear Drive. I don't think the cam drive is a direct mount though (I mat be wrong). How would you mount it? Modded rail?

        Must look into this.

Awesome guys! Thanks for the quick responses. That gear drive BL ASA works pretty well... and it has the center macro fitting. Tempting. That might negate my thoughts of using the BL cam drive since the cam drive needs a rail.

          Great food for thought.

Dirge - On the builds that used a M-90 frame and the PPS Micro Rock do you have to get special panels for that or were you able to get the standard panels to work? Thanks for your help.
