    Palmer's Stabilizer for Pneumag???

Howdy. I currently have a pneumag running a Tickler lpr mounted to one of the side ports on my asa. I was originally intending to replace the Tickler with an AKA SCMIII lpr, but mount it vertically into my vertical asa via a 1/8" NPT plug. Then I'd just run the lp hose into the frame from there. But I got to thinking, that might look kind of hokey considering there would be a gap between the asa and lpr, not to mention paint might get stuck in there and be hard to clean out.

So I got to thinking it might be better to use a normal reg in the vert ASA (Like a Stabilizer with the input ports up at the top), then run a T-fitting so unregulated air still goes into the X-valve, then tap a 10-32 nipple into the ASA chamber for the lp air.

Has anyone done this, or used a standard regulator turned way down for a pneumag?

i remember pneumagger doing something similar to what your describing, i think he had palmers custom build a stabilizer for him.

When I had my tac-one set up as a pnue, i ran a palmers fatty stabilizer screwed into the vert asa. The air lines were setup just like you described. It worked fine for me. i went back to shooting pure mech, but I will be running the same set up as an EP when my solenoid comes in.

^^Haha, just saw that you're from Missoula. I'm from Bozeman. We'll have to get together to play sometime. I go up to Helena a lot and play with the Backwoods Brawler's group.

I finally remembered the one I had in mind, from rawbutter...

Paintball Talk is the main forum for Automags.org. Here is where we talk about the sport of paintball in general and make announcements relating to the forum and website.

The pics seem to be gone, but he had it pretty well documented at the time. It was a t-fitting on a palmers.
