Need help on setting up new airline to valve

    Hey yall:

I have an automag rt ule and I just the shoktech drop forward #3 and I ordered a Custom Products asa w/ on&off (it is just the basic asa from CP) and when I go to install the asa on the drop forward, it merely slides on and off. I was curious if anybody had any other suggestions on a better fitting asa with on&off valve. also if anybody could suggest a good way to now get the compressed air to the x-valve; I was thinking through the foregrip. I also need to know the parts i will be needed apart from the hose. Thank yall very much for the help

It slides even after you tighten the set screw on top of the shocktech drop? There's a hole on the top of the drop which you can tighten so it won't slide off, . . . unless I am completely misunderstanding you.

yes, or just go from the asa to the valve, use a foot of macroline and 2 90* swivel fittings...

No problem. It's nice when it's a simple fix. Yeah you should be able to run the set up you are talking about.
Here's a link to pics of set ups other people have done. It's a good way to get ideas as well as see all of the different variations and parts people have used.
