    Hopper Recommendations for Warp Feed?

    All,

I just bought my first Mag in the form of a used RT-Pro with a warp feed and am really happy with it thus far.

After shooting a half a case through it, I'm convinced the warp feed should be used with an agitating hopper.

I spent an hour on the Warp Feed forum thread and found a few recommendations from 3 year old posts. I thought I'd re-start this discussion again and see if the recommendations have changed. I'm more concerned about a nice fit to the gun than speed.

    Thanks In Advance!
    Dave

I use a 12v Revvy, EGG 3, and a Ricochet on occasion. I do see Halos, Rotors, and even a Magna once, with those i think it works more to maintain and redirect the feed more than force it like with a Revvy.

Revvies work great with them. The warp is capable of feeding very high rates of fire, and usually has more an enough balls stacked in the tubes and motor to allow a revvie to keep up with some very high rof.
Once or twice a day ill skip a shot but its usually because the sensor didnt catch the gun firing, ive never actually outshot the thing with the revvie.

As far as the fit, ive never tried anything else because it hasnt been necessary. What i can say though is that the warp was designed and introduced at the height of the revvies dominance. It fits great.

Even better though, is that the revvie is a pretty cheap and is a very simple motorized hopper. So if you want to customize and make your setup more sleek, i've seen some drill holes through the revvie to allow the warpfeed hose run through the bottom of the hopper and then exit from the top and then go straight into their vert/powerfeed. A halo might be a bit to pricey for that type of experimentation.

It depends on how fast you are going to shoot.

Under 12 bps then a 12v revy is fine, any faster then you need a force feed hopper.
