10+ year old K-C Trouble Free oil

Hey, when I started using my uncles mag it had a bottle of K-C Trouble Free in the case. It is at least 9-10 years old, minimum.

I've been using it all summer and just used to to fix some leaking in a x-valve that had sat for a few years.

I havent noticed anything bad, but was just curious if I should worry about anything or just buy a bottle of the new stuff under a different name.

mainly was thinking the oil may have broken down over time, it seems OK but i'm no expert.

If it doesn't smell bad, looks clear, and feels ok (slick) between your fingers, it should be good.

I doubt that oil goes bad as long as it is kept in reasonable conditions. I would have no hesistations using it.
