    Micro CA II Questions

I have a Micro CA II that seems to vent when I pop the cartridge out. I thought one of the benefits of these was that they had a valve that kept them from degassing when you were changing them? Is there an adjustment or O-ring that will keep this from degassing? I see an Allen head on the very front of the brass valve that looks to be some sort of adjustment, but for what? I did a quick search for a manual, but didnt see one anywhere.

Also, the set screw on the bottom that hits the handle, what exactly does this do? Obviously, it adjusts how far the handle will close, but is there an optimal setting?

There should be a back ck assy in the front of the valve where it screws into the gun.

If i remember correctly, some had them some didn't as was the case with the 6pack.

Ck out the pic and you'll see what I'm talking about. That's what keeps the whole marker from degassing.

I am a member of BE, but have never posted there so it won't let me view links. Tried posting something, but not seeming to want to let me do that either.

Hmmmm. Is it a bad sign when I take the back check nut and spring out and a bunch of yellow crumbly stuff falls out??? lol. Any ideas what size that used to be or where to get a replacement?

And thank you Ando for the pic post.

My 6pak was messed up the same way. I took apart a classic mag piston and used the seal from it. Had to cut it down a little but it 100% worked like a charm.

Hmm. I have a spare ANS valve somewhere that might have what I need. Thanks!
