    Need help with emag valve.

Just picked up an emag valve off of here for my mag. It leaked upon arrival. I ordered the x valve parts kit from agd and replaced all the orings in the marker. Now I am having more problems than what I began with. I fear that I may have placed the wrong size oring in the wrong spot. So here is my question.

    1. X valve parts kits should be good for emag valves correct?
    2. Where can I get a diagram that shows what goes where(airguns website has diagrams that conflict each other)?

    Thank you for your help.

Emag and X-valve are essentially the same valve.

    Here is an exploded view:

Here is an image of the X-valve with parts:

Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

      e-mag valve

on my e-mag valve it has the quad o-ring for #20 in the diagram of the x-valve? would it be ok to switch the quad o-ring for #20 o-ring?

It will work. The trigger reactivity on manual may be a bit higher because the sealing surface of the oring is different. The quad oring will work better. It reduces friction.

          e-mag valve

thanks! one more question, would replacing the rt classic on/off pin with the e-mag on/off pin get better rt effect in the rt classic and if i did replace the it with the e-mag on/off pin should use the quad o-ring as well?

Yes, the shorter emag pin will make a classic RT more reactive. The quad oring helps reduce friction which helps the on-off assembly move easier. If it moves easier, it is easier to get the most out of your reactive setup.

              e-mag valve

can this hurt the marker, like wear out the sear faster, or anything else i should be made aware of if i use the e-mag on/off pin (.712) on my rt classic?

As long as the level 10 bolt is used, it should be fine.
