    looking for X-Mod Programmer Cable Picture

    I bought a Programmer (ICProg-AVR). Now I need a good picture of the Cable, to build one
    The resolution on Niedfeldts Guide is not good enought

    You also need a $250 crimper to make the necessary pin connections.

      Tell me, where can i get a df13 crimp Tool for 250$?
      i just Found them for about 800$
      but this would be no problem, i just Need a picture of the Cable :)

        I bought mine on sale at digikey for around $200. I think the regular price is only around $250. The $800 dollar crimpers are industrial assembly line units.

        Here is a picture of the cable on my programmer.

        Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

            Atmel sent me the programmer for free a few years ago. They had a promotional give away. It is an AVR ISP. It has a serial interface and has since been replaced in the market by the MKII ISP which has a USB interface. I use mine with a serial to USB converter. It works great. I also have the STK500 for prototyping and programming AVRs that require high voltage programming.

            If you need a programmer for cheap get one of the USB kits for $15. AVR USB programmer kit

            They also have the MKII programmer for $30. MKII Programmer

              are the pins the same?

              i have the crimper to make the cables. but where is a good source for the ends.

                Order the connectors from Digikey, Mouser, or any electronic/electrical supplier.

                    I don't have the exact number off the top of my head, but they are Molex pico-blades, 1.25mm.
