I want to reroute the air line on my Automag RT through the grip like I've seen on other's mags mostly to free up room. Any advice on how to do it well, or any problems I might encounter?
Rerouting air line, any advice?

Pretty simple. Buy a gas through grip, attach fittings and macroline and you're done. What exactly do you have questions about? If you need to know what specific parts are, perhaps post up a pic of what you currently have and another pic of what you are looking to acheive. Someone can then point you in the right direction. -
This is what I have.
I'd like to route the air line something like this.
A little backstory.. I went to the local paintball shop to ask for the parts or if he could do it. I had assumed it wouldn't be hard or complicated, just a couple more elbows and some macroline. The guy at the shop said he didn't know much about mags and I should research more first, in case there were some problems. Better safe than sorry I guess, even if I sound vague and a little uninformed.
It appears the second marker has a solid steel line going from the handle to the valve. That's something I'd like to try for, but wouldn't be too disappointed if I didn't get it. Is there a kit I can buy specifically for mags?Comment

I understand that they are different markers, but didn't know that the air line parts are not compatable. Are you saying that I can't route the line as the way I described on my marker?Comment

you can route the air through the front grip on your marker, just not with the hardline like the second marker has
that 2nd marker is an RT classic and the air enters the valve through the rail, yours goes straight into the valve, so a piece of hardline on yours would make it a real pain to take your valve out
macroline will be the easiest way to go
just put a 90 deg fittings on the top and bottom of your front grip, a fitting on your asa and valve, install macroline, go play
although if you are using a tank that outputs more than 850 psi (standard preset screw in tank) I would recomend against using macrolineComment

Yeah I have a few kits left. lmk if you need someOriginally posted by TwilightGI'm pretty sure you can still use hardline, but you won't be able to use an RT "kit", it it will have to be custom cut and bent.
Mann, aren't you still selling hardline parts?
(I might be interested in some as well :) )Comment

You can use hardline from your foregrip to your valve, but cannot run anything through your rail like on a RT classicOriginally posted by RoadkilledI understand that they are different markers, but didn't know that the air line parts are not compatable.
