My ace board fried and I've discovered through a volt meter that the chip circled in the picture is shot.

the arrow pointing from the switch to one of the chip pins is where I've soldered a + bridge to bypass this chip to get power to the main board for it to work.
would i be right in thinking that this is a 18v regulator chip that needs to be replaced? and if so will this chip in the link be sufficient for it's replacement.?
