    autoresponse frame

ok, i just put together my Classic Mag with the autoresponse frame...i am still getting used to firing this frame and she goes just fine until i get her going, then she statrs to 'chuffing" and sorta just stays into firing air and not resetting...couple of times i degased her, regased her, and she was just fine......slower finger pull, she fires the 2 balls just fine, but as i said picking up the finger rate of fire, she starts "chuffing" ...i did notice that she fires really great when i watch my finger go thru a full pull...have a tendacy to short stroke, i guess...i am learning this trigger, so give me some do's and dont's on the autoresponse trigger...

also maybe i need the "retro valve" for a faster recharge rate....

    thankx in advance, thegrayghost.....

Just sounds like you are short stroking. Classic valves can do 12-13 bps just fine so as long as you get a full pull you should be fine. May also want to check that your sear rod is set properly.

For the autoresponse frame, it is important to completely finish the pull before you release. If you pull just enough to fire the marker and immediately release, you run the risk of not allowing the valve enough time to completely cycle the bolt and then recharge. The level 10 bolt makes this more difficult because of the slower cycle time.

Make sure the level 10 is tuned perfectly for the autoresponse frame to work at optimum performance.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
