Doc Nickel barrel adapter - centerfeed friendly?

    Hi all,
I actually just emailed this very question to Doc, but then I looked at the clock and realized that I would likely get a much faster response if I posted here. So what's the verdict?

    Thanks in advance!

As with barrels, I would think all you had to do, if it wasnt already done, is mill a notch in the adapter for CF. You can do it with a dremel or drill bit. I've done it to several barrels without an issue.

I have used one in a Sydarm, so yes, they are. I tightened the twist lock pin after I got the adapter in there. It locks the adapter in. Then you can swap barrels w/out taking it out. I found it tricky to keep the detent in while putting in taking out the adapter.

It has three holes for the twist lock; left, right, and center. If your body is not too tight, you can use a bit of wrapping tape to hold the detent in while you install the adapter. On a power feed body, you can push the twist lock down with an allen wrench, pencil, etc. from the back to get the adapter in.
