    Regulator piston

So I read that they have developed different reg pistons. One specifically for high pressure, How can you tell what one you have?

    Thanks

Visually there no way. If the marker isn't leaking out the back then don't worry about it

If you have a level 7 bolt, turn up the pressure until it starts to leak and fire over the chrono. If you are using the low pressure piston, the fps probably won't be over 325 to 350fps depending on the barrel you are using. It may even be lower if the assembly is old and worn. The high pressure piston will be much higher. On a mag with a level 10 bolt, it will vary by spring and barrel setup. With a low pressure piston, the mag will start to leak just past the 300fps range or sometimes lower if it is older and worn. the higher pressure piston will allow a much higher pressure before leaking.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
