emag battery w/ turbo rev

I was trying hook my emag battery up to the power source of my turbo rev and ran into a little problem.

this is an image of the set up with 2, 9 volts, i need to put in on 1, 18 volt

Thats about as I got w/ my little currency tester (I'm not to good w/ computer art), so for anyone who is still following me you can see that at one point a + crosses a -. Fine with 2 batteries but w/ one battery hooked up in 2 places it is simply a short. I know I'm not to good at explaining things but hopfully there is someone with a solution for me.
