It might not be the on/off.

    1) If you mag is old check to see if your on off top is in backwards.

    2) If you have any aftermarket parts in the valve remove them. Aftermarket parts almost always decrease the performance of an automag.

    3) Make sure your on off pin is not in backwards. The side with the little indent in it should be facing the towards the trigger frame.

    4) The assembly diagram is laser engraved into the the valve make sure everything is in order.

    5) Make sure there is no teflon tape plugging up any of the orfices.

    6) Make sure the velocity adjuster is set to the correct velocity.

      Hey Bud,
If you are getting a "lawn sprinkler" effect, check the o-rings in the on/off. That's pretty basic, so your friend should have picked up on that...

      Good Luck ~

          I got your problem solved!!!!

Hey, posted a problem just like yours about 2 weeks ago except my gun was an RT PRO everyone said that it was me short stroking the trigger or not pulling it hard enough or it was o'rings. Well, they were wrong. I called up AGD and Tom who happened to be in the tech support department when the phone rang said that they had a problem with some on/off valves that were sent out and that the pin was 2 short. What this does is cause the trigger on the gun to be waaay to reactive. It would shoot full auto just by barely touching the trigger and if I tried to pull the trigger really hard it would still double or triple fire a lot of times. So anyway, he sent me a new on/off valve 3 day ups ground at no charge and when I installed it, "PRESTO" the problem was instantly solved. Where else can you get that kind of service????

if you dont have an rt than shotat 's thing wont help. or if it worked before and doesnt now. the air valve doesnt have a reactive trigger and therefore wont have trigger bounce.
Sorry for the spelling. Im still working on it.

use a dental pick or a pin to remove and replace the o-rings in the bottom of the on/off chamber
