I was trying to play with my emag I just got and had some issues. Mech mode shot fine, but switching to a full charge battery with xmod, it didn't fire. Would this be a plunger rod length issue? Too long, too short? I think the plunger is fine (without the valve, pressing my finger on the back of the sear, I can get the plunger noid to fire). Any ideas?

Is it powering on?
If not it could be a few things. Easiest thing to ck is your trigger magnet, make sure it's far enough away from the hall sensor. Back it out a little at a time then re-check. If it's too close,it'll basically shut your board down...
Another thing could be the power lead to the board, make sure it didn't come lose.
Make sure your battery cap is in full contact to the 2 prongs on the marker. They should be resting on them at all times, bending the contacts up a little will fix this.
Last thing is the ground. There will be a single screw holding the board down. Removed that screw then clean out the hole the screw was in. Basically what your trying to do here is scuff it up, expose some fresh metal. If you have a tap (think it's a 4-40), run a tap down the hole. That will clean off the threads so you'll get a better ground for the board.
If it is turning on.....
This is usually the issue....Make sure your ACE isn't on. Run through the settings and disable it.
Do you have a multi-meter to ck the voltage of the battery when in use?
One good way to ck the power of the plunger is by removing the valve and applying pressure with your finger at the bottom back hole of the body where the rear of the sear protrudes. It should sting pretty bad when the back of the sear hits it.
If everything I posted is OK then it might be the plunger out of adj. You'll need a micrometer to measure it.
If your not comfortable cking it. Send it to Tuna, he'll get it purring for ya.

Yeah that really makes you look stupid when you can't figure out why the gun won't shoot, get mad ans say forget it and put it away. Then when you get home you realize the ACE is on.Comment

That happened to me this past weekend, luckily I figured it out before putting it away, lost out on a game because of it though.Originally posted by sjrtkYeah that really makes you look stupid when you can't figure out why the gun won't shoot, get mad ans say forget it and put it away.
